TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
Although every effort is made, Autopia Tours shall not be liable for any illness, injury, damages, loss, delay or failure to join the tour that may occur due to factors beyond our control.
We highly recommend all passengers have travel insurance coverage. Autopia Tours retains the right to alter routes, itineraries, bus types and configurations, fares adjustments, days of operation or even cancel tours if unforeseen circumstances occur.
Other accredited tour operators may be used on some tours.
To maximise the comfort of your journey, no luggage storage facilities are provided on Day Tours. It is recommended that you bring a small daypack no bigger than 5kg.
Extended Tours: Maximum baggage allowance per person is 15-20kg preferably a soft travelling pack. Excessive luggage may incur a surcharge fee.
In addition, you may bring a sleeping bag. Inappropriate luggage presented at departure, such as suitcases, strollers, walking frames and wheelchairs may result in refusal to board unless previously arranged. Excessive amounts of luggage may incur a surcharge fee, for concerns please call our friendly reservations team.
We recommend all guests have travel insurance and should be taken out at the time of booking prior to tour departure.
Your travel insurance must provide cover against personal accident, death, medical expenses and emergency repatriation with a recommended minimum coverage of US$200,000 for each of the categories of cover.
We also strongly recommend it covers cancellation, curtailment, personal liability and loss of luggage and personal effects. If you have travel insurance connected to your credit card or bank account please ensure you have details of the participating insurer, the insurance policy number and emergency contact number with you rather than the bank’s name and credit card details.
PICK UP AND DROP OFF SERVICES:
Autopia Tours may offer complimentary inner-city pickup and drop off services to select accommodation providers.
Please note it is the customer’s responsibility to be ready and waiting at their nominated pickup location prior to departure.at least 10 minutes before departure. Autopia Tours cannot be held responsible for passengers who fail to load.
We welcome children on most of our tours, we have reduced prices for children on our one day tours, however, for our multi-day tours the price is the same as an adult. A child is anyone that is 12 and under.
Children 17 years old and under, must be accompanied by a legal guardian or adult. Multi-Day Tours are not suitable for children 7 years and under.
Children aged between 6 and 17 years old are required to upgrade to private accommodation and must be accompanied by a legal guardian or adult.
If you’ve got a little one, please get in touch with our Customer Happiness Crew at least 24 hours before your tour to let us know if you require a baby or child seat. Please note no strollers, prams or trolleys can be taken on our tours.
*Please note on our Grampians National Park Tour and Blue Mountains Tours we cannot take children under the age of 6 due to the nature of the day.
Cancellation by the traveller:
Autopia Tours will not be held responsible for passengers failing to familiarise themselves with the booking terms and conditions. Day Tours – Cancellations within 48 hours or failure to board on the day of tour, will result in 100% full fare forfeiture. Cancellation 3 to 7 days prior to departure will result in a 50% loss of the ticket price. Date change fees apply inside of & including of 7 days $25 per person.
Extended Tours – Cancellations within 14 days or failure to board on the day, will result in 100% full fare forfeiture. Cancellation 15 to 21 days prior to departure will result in a 50% loss of the ticket price. Cancellation 22 to 30 days prior to departure will result in a 25% loss of the ticket price. Date change fees apply inside & including of 21 days $150 per person.
Cancellation by us:
Extended Tours – We may cancel a trip at any time up to 45-60 days before departure. We may cancel a trip at any time prior to departure if, due to terrorism, natural disasters, political instability or other external events it is not viable for us to operate the planned itinerary.
If we cancel your trip, you can transfer amounts paid to an alternate departure date or receive a full refund. In circumstances where the cancellation is due to external events outside our reasonable control refunds will be less any unrecoverable costs.
We are not responsible for any incidental expenses that you may have incurred as a result of your booking including but not limited to visas, vaccinations, travel insurance excess or non-refundable flights. No further cancellations should be made within 45 days.
By booking a tour with Autopia Tours, you are agreeing that we may contact you in relation to feedback about a tour which you have undertaken with us or one of our affiliates. Autopia Tours may contact you via email in relation to specials or promotional offers.
In the event you do not wish to receive any correspondence from us, please select the easy opt-out button to discontinue any communication. All photographs and video content recorded during all tours can be used for marketing purposes, please advise your tour guide if you do not agree to release this permission. Please note agent fees may also apply.
Please notify Autopia Tours with any dietary requirements, medical conditions 48 hours prior to departure day. Limited food options on extended tours once we have departed.
