What is a suitable age for this tour?
Child fare prices apply from 0 to 12 years old. Infants aged 0 to 4 may be able to join select sightseeing tours, though some day tours may not be suitable due to the terrain or duration. A child ticket is required for infants, as they are included in the headcount. Child safety seats can be requested at the time of booking, subject to availability but are not guaranteed. We are not obligated by regulations to provide child safety seats. Please note our vehicles do not have the storage to accommodate prams or strollers, these must be left at your hotel or accommodation.
How fit do I need to be for this tour?
A low level of fitness is required to bathe.
How much does it cost for a towel and locker?
You can hire a towel, robe, and locker on arrival at the Peninsula Hot Springs. They do offer a package bundle for robe, locker and towel hire for $25.00. Or you can hire individual items or bring your own. NO cash payments – All onsite payments will now be cashless, and where possible, contactless.

How much luggage can I bring on tour?
We ask that guests travelling on day trips bring small day packs and hand luggage only as we have limited storage onboard our vehicles.
How does the Peninsula Hot Springs work?
The geothermal water is 637 meters below the Earth’s surface and is rich in healing minerals such as Boron, Magnesium, Potassium, and Sodium. The rich water is filtered through a hot spring believed to have been deep within the Earth for over 10,000 years, making it a proper mineral spring.

What items are necessary to bring for the Hot Springs Tour?
Bringing essential items such as a swimsuit, towel, water bottle, and thongs (flip-flops) is recommended. Additional items like a robe or extra towel can provide added comfort. Locker and towel hire is available on arrival at reception payable directly to the Hot Springs.
Are there any age restrictions for the Hot Springs Tour?
Children of all ages are welcome to join the tour. An adult must accompany children under the age of 16 at all times.
Can you go to the Hot Springs without a tour?
Visitors can access the Mornington Peninsula Hot Springs without being part of a tour. However, joining the tour provides added benefits such as return transportation from Melbourne city straight to the hot springs.
What amenities are provided at the Hot Springs?
The Hot Springs has multiple pools with varying temperatures, a Turkish steam bath (Hamam), saunas, and cold plunge pools. Additionally, the Hot Springs provide a variety of amenities, such as locker rooms, showers, a café, and a gift shop. Spa treatments and wellness activities are extra and can be pre-booked directly with the Peninsula Hot Springs.
Do I need to print my ticket?
We work on a paperless boarding system so it’s not required to print your ticket as we love to save paper. Please keep a copy of your confirmation email/ticket on your phone to make sure you have all the correct details and need to check your pickup location, time, or call us.
How will I know which bus/driver I will have?
We may be running multiple buses so our drivers will find somewhere to park, get off and approach you to check if you’re on their manifest. Please listen out if they’re announcing the name of the tour or your name. Also keep your mobile phone handy as they will attempt to also call you from there. Your driver may have delays from earlier pickups. For privacy reasons, we do not provide the phone number of the tour guide. We can provide you with the licence plate number should you wish to look out for this (like you would looking for your Uber!) Do I require travel insurance for this tour?
It is highly recommended that all passengers have personal travel insurance, given we’re exploring remote parts of Australia some regions have limited access to health professionals in the event of sickness or injury. This can be provided by an accredited local travel agent or from your preferred insurance company.
Is tipping the tour guide expected?
Tipping is not mandatory in Australia but is always appreciated if you feel your guide delivered an exceptional experience.
What happens if I’m late or miss the pick-up?
If you’re not at the designated pick-up location at the scheduled time, the tour may proceed without you. We recommend arriving 10–15 minutes early and keeping your phone on for any updates. Late arrivals are considered no-shows and may not be eligible for a refund.
Cancellation?
Our tours offer free cancellation up to 24 hours beforehand, must be submitted in writing or through your travel agent.
